Comments
Any memo you can read, you can comment on — full Markdown included. Comments inherit the parent memo's visibility, and the author is notified in their inbox. (Comments on comments aren't a thing; the reef keeps conversations one level deep.)
Reactions
Tap the smiley on any memo to react from the instance's emoji set. Tap your reaction again to remove it. Admins curate the set in Settings → Reef — yes, you can add 🦀.
Mentions
Write @username in a memo or comment and that member gets an inbox notification linking
back to it.
Inbox
The bell in the sidebar shows your unread count. Notifications cover comments on your memos and mentions of you; archive them one at a time or Mark all read. If the memo behind a notification has since been deleted (or forgotten by Dory), the notification says so gracefully.
